At Munich’s Business Startup Office we provide Munich citizens with basic knowledge about starting a business or working in the liberal professions. We provide information on areas such as startup formalities, business plan, choice of legal form and tax overview, social and company insurance, subsidies and financial aid, seminars and events, office space and startup centersOur services are free of charge. Please note that we cannot advise on insurance, tax, or legal issues. We do not provide a business plan writing service or issue expert statements.

How to book an appointment for a startup consultation:


Please fully complete the following contact form. The information provided will help us prepare the consultation. All information and documentation supplied by you will be treated confidentially. We will then suggest several time slots for the appointment. Consultations are held either by phone or by online video conference. Duration: 1 hour. Our services are free of charge. Note: We are not entitled to offer consulting services on insurance, tax or legal matters. The Chamber of Skilled Crafts (HWK) offers advice on starting a skilled crafts business. Please understand that for legal reasons Munich’s Business Startup Office is not allowed to provide individual tax or legal advice or help with insurances. We may not recommend or refer you to a particular professional or business.
